You can find Aakriti Interiors & Architectural Solutions at 331/4 on Patel Rama Reddy Road, which is right off the 7th Cross near St Marks Road. It is a bit of a tuck-away spot, but we like it that way. We do a mix of things here, from figuring out where a wall should go to picking out what kind of tiles might look alright on a kitchen floor. The office is a bit cramped because we have samples of wood, stone, and fabric lying all over the place. Sometimes it’s hard to find a clear spot on the table to even put a cup of tea. We have been at this location for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners on Patel Rama Reddy Road pretty well. It’s a busy street and there is always something to look at if we need a break from the screen. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just help people figure out their spaces. A lot of our work is just listening to what someone wants and then trying to draw it out so a builder can understand it. St Marks Road is just around the corner, so it is a convenient place for people to stop in. We keep regular hours, usually getting in early and staying until the light gets bad. It is a good way to earn a living, and we enjoy the puzzles each new project brings to our door.
