A. M. Mediplast is tucked away in the Bhagvati Estate. If you are trying to find us at number 10, the best way is to look behind Uttam Dairy in Sukhram Nagar. It is a bit of a hidden spot, but it works well for what we do. The estate is full of other small businesses, so there is always a lot of loading and unloading going on in the shared lanes. We work with plastics, so the shop often has that specific smell of new materials. Most of our day is spent at the machines or packing finished goods into cardboard boxes. It is repetitive work, but we take it seriously because of the type of products they are. We do not have an HR department; we just have a few guys who have been here for years. The sun hits the front of the unit in the afternoon, making it pretty warm, so we usually keep the big door open to get a breeze. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow entrance to the estate, which causes a bit of a headache for everyone. We know the neighbors well, and we often share a cup of tea in the mornings before the work really kicks off.
