We are located at 21/1 Sardar Patrappa Road, which most people just call Sapis Road. It is on the first floor, right near the K R Market. If you have ever been to K R Market, you know how packed it gets. The streets are narrow and there are people everywhere with carts and bags. Getting up to our office involves a flight of stairs that are a bit steep. We have boxes of industrial supplies stacked almost to the ceiling. It can feel a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in. The air smells like the market downstairs, a mix of flowers and diesel. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through inventory lists. It is not a quiet place. You can hear the shouting from the street and the horns honking all day long. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos below. We have a small desk near the window where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It is a very old part of the city. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. We know the other shop owners on the street. We all just try to navigate the crowd and get our items out to the people who need them.
