It’s a bit of a trek out to Village Venkatapura, but it’s where we’ve set up our base. Working out of an apartment gives the whole business a different feel than being in a downtown office tower. It’s usually pretty quiet out here, which is good for the kind of IT work we do. We have our servers and workstations set up in a way that makes sense for the space we have. There are often boxes of hardware sitting in the corner and cables running along the floor that we haven't quite tucked away yet. The view from the 4th floor is mostly of the other buildings in the complex and some of the greenery around Kengeri. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people; if someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It’s a very hands-on environment where everyone chips in with whatever is needed, whether that’s coding or just cleaning up the kitchen area. We’ve grown to like the commute out here because it’s a break from the usual Bangalore madness. It’s a simple, honest place where we just focus on getting the technical work finished properly. We take things as they come and try to keep a steady pace.
