Down in Yelahanka New Town, specifically in V Phase, you’ll find our unit at No. 24/3. This part of Bangalore North is a bit different from the city center, which is nice because we have more room for the oil processing. At Sri Sas Aagro Oils, we spend most of our time dealing with the seeds and the presses. It's a noisy job, and there is always a strong smell of oil in the air, but you get used to it after a couple of days. We have a small crew that works the machines and keeps everything clean, or at least as clean as an oil mill can be. We don't have a big showroom. If you come by, you’ll mostly see drums and bags of raw materials stacked up. We keep things simple. There’s a small desk where we handle the bills and talk to the drivers. The traffic on the road outside can be a bit much in the evenings, but during the day it’s just the sound of the equipment running. We aren't big on meetings or long emails. We just check the quality of what's coming out of the machines and make sure the orders are ready for pickup. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us. Some days are longer than others depending on how much we need to get pressed, but we just get on with it.
