It’s a tough industry sometimes because everything depends on the seasons and the crops. Our building is a regular house that we've converted into an office space. It feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters, which is nice. We have a few rooms where we handle the accounts and the logistics. Most of the talk around here is about sugar prices and transport schedules. Sedam is a small place, so everyone knows where Basava Nilaya is. We don't have big flashy billboards. We just have our name on the front and some people working inside. We’ve been doing this for some time now. Some days are slow and we just sit around the table with some tea, talking about the business. Other days, when the harvest is in, it’s absolute chaos. We manage the best we can. It’s a family-like atmosphere here. We aren't trying to be some massive conglomerate. We just want to run a steady business and take care of the people who work with us. It's a simple setup in a quiet town. There are plenty of trees around the house. It makes the afternoons a bit cooler. We usually finish up work around six and head home.
