Sagaya Technologies (Opc) Private Limited is based out of Mary'S Cottage in Vijinapura. It’s located on the 1st Cross in R.R. Layout, which is a bit of a tucked-away spot near the Dooravaninagar Post office. Working out of a place called a cottage gives it a much more relaxed feel than those big office parks you see elsewhere in Bangalore. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a big HR department or a cafeteria; we just have a few rooms and ourselves. Most days involve a lot of typing and occasionally someone going out to get tea for the group. The street outside is usually quiet enough that you can hear the birds, which is a nice change from the main road noise. We handle various technology projects, and since it's an OPC, it's a tight-knit way of doing things. We’ve had to deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or the internet going slow, but we just manage it as it comes. It’s an honest way to spend the day, working on things we understand. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Instead, we have a calendar with some dates circled and a few notes pinned up here and there. It’s a practical space for people who just want to get their work done without a lot of fuss. Finding the place can be a bit tricky the first time, but once you’re here, it’s quite comfortable.
