We are located out in Whitefield, specifically at Villa 20 in the Chaitanya Swoja complex on Borewell Road. Working out of a villa feels a lot different than being in one of those huge tech parks you see all over Bangalore. It’s much quieter here, though the traffic on Borewell Road can be a real headache during peak hours. Promentr Technologies is basically a small team of us sitting around desks in what used to be a living room. We do a lot of tech work and mentoring, which is where the name comes from. Being in a residential area means we get to see the neighbors walking their dogs while we are coding or on calls. It makes the workday feel a bit more grounded and less like a grind. There is a nice little garden area where we sometimes take our laptops when the weather isn’t too hot. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist, so if you come by, one of us will just get up and open the door. It is a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. Most of our days are spent troubleshooting and building stuff for our clients. We have been here for a bit now and the villa feels like home. It is a practical space for a tech team that just wants to get things done without any of the corporate fluff.
