Navadanya Seeds Private Limited

Our place is at No-3017/7 on the 4th Main in Mariyappanapalya. It’s in C Block, right on the 3rd Cross near MKK Road. We’ve been running Navadanya Seeds from this spot for a good while. The area is quite packed with buildings and small shops, so it feels very lived-in. We have a lot of bags and containers around because of the work we do. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy carpets or anything like that. It’s a warehouse and office mix, mostly. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the labels are right. MKK Road can be a bit of a nightmare with the traffic, especially in the evenings, but we’re used to it. The staff here are mostly locals from around the Bangalore area. We talk a lot while we work, usually about the weather or what’s for lunch. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. We don’t really use big words or have meetings that last forever. We just talk about what needs to get out the door and then we do it. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the seeds and the movement, but that is just part of the job. We like being in Mariyappanapalya; it feels like the heart of the old city in a way. It's just a normal place where we work.
