Our office is located at G M Infinity in E-City Town, specifically on the fourth floor of the A 426 section. Being out on Thirupalya Road means we deal with the usual Electronic City traffic every single morning and evening. The building itself is quite large and has that typical glass-and-steel look. Inside, our space is pretty standard for an IT services place. We have rows of desks, some whiteboards that are always covered in scribbles, and a small area for the server rack. It can get quite chilly because the central air conditioning is always blasting, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks. The view from the fourth floor is mostly other office buildings and some construction sites. We spend a lot of time on our headsets, so it stays relatively quiet in the room. There is a canteen in the building where we grab snacks, but the coffee there is only okay. We have a few cupboards for storing our things, and they are usually overflowing with old cables and spare keyboards. It’s a long day for most of us, especially with the commute, so we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It is a straightforward place to work, nothing fancy or over-the-top, just a bunch of us getting through our tasks.
