Benaka Seeds Private Limited is located at #3 on the 2nd Floor. We are on 2nd Cross, Ullal Main Road, in Gananjyothi Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re coming from the center of Bangalore, but it’s where we found a good space for our office. We deal with seeds, which means our lives are basically governed by the seasons. If it’s planting time, we are absolutely swamped and everyone is stressed. If it’s the off-season, things are a bit more relaxed and we have time to organize the warehouse. The office isn't anything fancy. We have a few desks, a printer that jams too often, and a lot of seed catalogs. We don't have a big HR department or fancy titles. We're just a bunch of people who know a thing or two about farming and seeds. We try to be honest with people about what will grow and what won't. There's no point in lying about it because the plants will tell the truth eventually anyway. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers. Their problems become our problems. Sometimes we stay late to finish the paperwork because the day was spent talking to customers. It’s a simple business, really. We just try to do our bit and hope the rain comes at the right time for everyone. We’ve been here for a while and like the quiet atmosphere.
