Vihan Seeds Private Limited

Vihan Seeds is based out of No.110 at Janhavi Shelters in Yelenahalli, which is over in the Begur area. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which is nice because it’s a bit quieter. We deal with seeds all day long. Some days we are sorting through samples, other days we are just answering the phone. The office is inside the residential block, so it feels very homey. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It's just a small team here. We have bags of seeds stacked in the corner and charts on the wall showing different planting seasons. The light in the office is good in the mornings, but it gets a bit dark in the back rooms. We spend a lot of time talking to growers and trying to figure out which seeds are doing well this year. It's not always easy, sometimes the crops don't do what they are supposed to. We try to be helpful when people call with questions. Begur has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We take our lunches together usually. It’s a simple operation. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the seeds we provide are decent and that the paperwork is in order. It's a lot of manual tracking since the computer acts up sometimes. It keeps things interesting around here.
