So, we have this small place on M. Lakshmaiah Road at number 17/3. Alamelu Spices And Foods is really just a handful of us working together every day. It gets pretty busy with all the bags and boxes coming in. We handle a lot of different spices and food items, mostly just standard stuff people need. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the smell of the spices is really strong in the morning when we open up the doors. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not always easy keeping track of things, especially when a big shipment arrives late. We've been at this for a while now, just trying to keep the business going. Most of the people around here know us by now. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that, just word of mouth mostly. Our team is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from moving boxes to answering the phone. The road outside can get quite crowded with delivery trucks, which makes things a bit tight. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the daily tasks. It’s hard work, but we like being part of the local scene here. Just a regular business doing regular things in our part of town.
