Aic-Srs-Icar-Ndri Foundation

We’re located over at the National Dairy Research Institute in ADUGODI. If you come to the ground floor, Room No. 3, you’ll find us. Aic-Srs-Icar-Ndri Foundation is quite a long name, but we just think of ourselves as the group working out of units E11 and E12. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has character. Being inside the NDRI campus means we are surrounded by cows and researchers all day. It’s a different vibe than the rest of Bangalore 560034. We spend our time helping new ideas get off the ground, especially stuff related to dairy and farming. It involves a lot of meetings in small rooms and drinking way too much chai. We aren't a big corporation with fancy slogans. We're more like a bunch of people who care about how milk is produced and how technology can help out. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to wait it out. Our desks are usually covered in papers and notebooks. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work best. People come to us with all sorts of ideas, and we try to see if they make sense. It’s not always easy, and sometimes things don’t work out, but we keep trying. It’s a quiet place to work, mostly, except for the occasional noise from the labs next door and the birds outside the window. We like it here.
