Ahalya Cashews Private Limited

Our business is located in the Prestige South Ridge complex, specifically Flat 5141 in BSK 3rd Stage. It is in the Hosakerehalli Extension part of town. It might seem strange to have a cashew business in a residential flat, but it works for our small-scale sorting and administrative side. We get the raw nuts and spend our time checking them for quality and size. It is quiet work for the most part. We have some tables set up near the windows where the light is better for seeing the details. Looking out over Hosakerehalli is a nice distraction when the work gets repetitive. We have to be very careful with the storage to keep everything crisp and fresh. The bins are stacked along the walls and we keep a close eye on the inventory levels. Living and working in the same general area means there isn't much of a commute, which is a relief in this city. Sometimes we have to move heavy sacks through the hallways, which can be a bit of a chore. The neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We don't have any big machinery here, just some scales and bags. It is a very manual process, picking through the cashews one by one to make sure they are okay. We just keep things simple and focus on the day's tasks until the sun goes down over the ridge.
