Poorna Prajna High School

Poorna Prajna High School is right on Bb Rd in the Kausar Ngr area of Sidlaghatta. Since we are on a main road, there’s always the sound of traffic passing by, which we’ve all just gotten used to over the years. The school is a familiar sight for anyone traveling through this part of Chickballapur. It’s a tallish building for the area, and we use every floor for different classes. The stairs are a bit steep, so we’re always telling the kids to slow down when they run. We’ve got a lot of students packed into the classrooms, which makes for a very lively atmosphere every single morning. The teachers are busy from the moment they walk in until the last student leaves. We don’t have a big budget for fancy decorations, so the walls are mostly covered with student drawings and maps. It’s an honest place where we just focus on the textbooks and making sure everyone understands the lessons. Sometimes we struggle with the noise from the street, especially during the festival season, but we manage to keep the kids focused on their work. The parents are often local shopkeepers or farmers who want a solid place for their children to study. We keep our records in big paper ledgers and handle things in an old-fashioned way. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy school, but it’s ours, and it works for the community here in Sidlaghatta. We just take it day by day.
