Acharya World School

This school sits right on Kunigal Main Road in the Magadi part of Ramanagara. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of the city, but it’s a good location for the people living out this way. The school building is pretty large and you can see it clearly from the road. We get a lot of dust from the traffic outside, so there’s always someone sweeping the hallways or wiping down the windows. It’s a busy place with students coming from all over the local area. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the essentials like blackboards and benches and some charts for the different subjects. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups because we stay pretty busy throughout the day. I think people like that it’s straightforward here. We don’t have any of those expensive high-tech labs you see in the movies, just a regular school where kids come to learn their math and science and play a bit of sport in the yard when it’s not too hot. Ramanagara can be quite warm, so the shade from the trees in the yard is where everyone congregates during the breaks. It’s just a normal part of the community where we try to make sure every kid gets through their lessons without too much trouble.
