Our office for Surpac Software India is located right behind the Sujata Hotel here in Hospet. It’s on T.B. Dam Road, which is a fairly busy street, but we’re tucked away enough to get our work done without too much distraction. T. Padmaraja and T.V. Setty are the ones running the show most of the time. We focus on software, so it's a lot of technical stuff and long hours looking at code or data. It’s not the most exciting thing to describe to people, but it’s what we’re good at. Being near the hotel means it’s pretty easy to give people directions when they’re coming to see us for the first time. We’ve been in this Hospet location for quite a while now. The office is pretty simple, with desks, computers, and too many cables running along the floor in the corners. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we’re in the middle of a big project or a tight deadline. We don't do much in the way of shouting about what we do. We just come in, do the work, and go home like anyone else. The weather here can get quite hot in the summer, so we’re grateful for the shade the building provides. It’s a steady job and we’ve built a decent little community among the staff over the years at this address. It feels like home now.
