Our place is at number 22 in Vinayak Nagar, right along Badanavaddi Road. Dhk Earth Movers deals with the heavy stuff. We have the big machines that you see out on construction sites. It is a loud business. There is always the sound of engines or metal moving around. We have been working in the area for quite some time. The yard can get quite dusty, especially in the dry months. We don't worry too much about appearances. The machines need to work, that's what matters to us. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment. If a machine breaks down on a job, it’s a problem, so we try to keep things running smooth. Badanavaddi Road is a good location for us to get our trailers in and out. Vinayak Nagar is where we’ve built our roots. Most of the guys on the team have been here since the start. We are practical people. We don't sit in offices much. Usually, we are out in the yard or at a site. If someone needs earth moved, they give us a call. We look at the ground and tell them what it will take. It’s hard work and you get dirty every single day. That is just the nature of earth moving. We are happy with how things are going. It’s a local business run by local people who aren't afraid of a bit of mud and grease.
