Sg Ashtekar Earth Movers

We’ve been here at 347, Airport Road in Kammar for a good while now. Most days it’s just us and the machines. Sg Ashtekar Earth Movers isn't some huge office place with people in suits. We are usually out in the yard or on a site somewhere nearby. If you come by the address, you’ll see the equipment parked up or maybe someone working on a motor. Kammar is a busy spot and being right on Airport Road means there is always a bit of noise from the traffic. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up. We spend a lot of time checking the hydraulics and making sure the tracks are clean. It’s hard work and the sun can be pretty brutal some afternoons. We don’t really have a fancy front desk or anything like that. Just a small place where we keep the keys and do the paperwork when we have to. Most of the guys have grease on their clothes by noon. That’s just how it is here. People know where to find us if they need something moved or a hole dug. We just try to get the machines to where they need to go and do the job right. It isn't complicated. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole night fixing it. That’s part of the life. We’ve lived in this area for years, so we know the ground around here pretty well.
