Sagar Enterprises

Our shop, Sagar Enterprises, is located on Bazar Road in Hukkeri. We are in Ward No- 19, which is a busy little part of the town. Bazar Road is exactly what you would expect—lots of small shops, people walking by with their groceries, and occasional carts or bikes blocking the way. Our space is quite simple. We have shelves lined with various goods and a counter where we spend most of our time. It is a bit dusty because of the road right outside, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It is that kind of place where everyone says hello. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the breeze that comes in from the street and a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit. Most of our days are spent talking to customers and keeping track of our inventory. It is a slow pace of life here in Hukkeri, and we are fine with that. We open early and close when the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet out. It is just a regular shop run by regular people who have been here for years. We just take it one customer at a time and keep things simple.
