Mahalaxmi Engineers

Our shop is out in the Angol Industrial Estate in Belgaum. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise from all the other units around us. We’ve been here at Mahalaxmi Engineers for a while now. Mostly, we spend our time on the shop floor dealing with machines and parts. It gets pretty dusty and loud, but that’s just how an engineering place is. We have a small office area, but most of the action happens where the tools are. People around the estate know us as just another group of guys working with metal. We don't have a big corporate office or anything fancy like that. It’s just a shed with some heavy equipment and a few workbenches. The roads in the estate can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, but we manage to get our materials in and out. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in town. It’s a straightforward life here in Karnataka. We focus on the jobs we get and try to make sure everything fits right before it leaves the gate. There isn’t much to see if you aren't interested in machinery, but for us, it's home for most of the week. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It’s just a regular engineering workshop doing regular work.
