Sdl Facilities is located in Gokak, which is a bit different from being in the middle of Bangalore. We’re in the Laxmi Extension area, near J C Garden. Specifically, we’re at Pl No 1 204. We handle facility services, which means looking after buildings and making sure things like cleaning or maintenance get done. It’s not the kind of job that gets you a lot of attention, but it’s necessary. The office here is pretty basic. We spend a lot of time out at different sites rather than just sitting at our desks. Gokak is a smaller place, so word gets around if you do a bad job, which keeps us on our toes. We aren't some giant corporate entity with a huge HR department. We’re just a local business with a few staff members who know the area well. Sometimes it’s hard to find good people to help out, but we manage. The office can get a bit dusty since we are near the road, but we try to keep it tidy. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. If a pipe leaks or a floor needs cleaning at one of our spots, we take care of it. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We’re glad to be part of the community here in Belgaum and hope to keep going.
