Rameshwar Agro Processing and Packaging is based out of Plot No 95 in Yelihadelgi. We’re located in Athani taluka, and you can usually find Santosh Borade around here keeping an eye on things. Being in an agro-based business means our schedule depends a lot on the seasons. When it’s harvest time, things get really hectic around the plot. We deal with a lot of raw produce, so there’s always cleaning and sorting to do before anything gets packed. It’s not a clean, air-conditioned office environment. There’s dirt, there’s dust, and there’s a lot of heavy lifting. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know the local farmers and how they work. We aren't some big city company trying to tell people what to do. We’re just part of the community here in Yelihadelgi. Sometimes the power goes out or the trucks are late, and we just have to deal with it. That’s just life in the village. We take pride in the fact that we handle everything ourselves. It’s a simple operation, really. We just want to make sure the crops get processed and sent off properly. It’s a long day, but it’s good to be working with the land and the people we know. There is something about the smell of the earth here that keeps us coming back every morning. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
