Punekars Jaggery Manufactring Center

We've been at 25/536 on Ankali Road for a long time now. Most days start well before the sun comes up because making jaggery is a slow process that you can't really rush. Kadapur is a quiet place, and we like being tucked away here. We get the raw sugarcane brought in from the nearby fields and the boiling starts almost as soon as it arrives. It’s hot and heavy work, especially when the big furnaces are roaring, but that’s just part of the life we chose. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that to show off. It’s just the shed, the pans, and the equipment we need to get the work done. People from the surrounding villages know where to find us. We keep things pretty straightforward and honest. If someone stops by, they’ll likely see us stirring the boiling juice or packing the finished blocks into crates. It’s sticky and it’s messy, but it’s real work that we take pride in. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit tricky, like when the rains come and everything gets damp, but we just find a way to manage. My family has been around this area for generations, so we know these roads and the farmers quite well. We don't spend much time on computers or making fancy advertisements. We'd much rather spend our hours making sure the jaggery comes out with the right color and taste. It's a local thing, and we just want to keep the center running smoothly.
