DAYAAR INFRA BUILD PRIVATE LIMITED is based in Belgaum, over at R S No. 1393/A-P3 on Z Avenue. It’s near the A M Shaikh Hospital in the Gangwadi area. We do infra and building work around here. Belgaum is a bit different from the big cities, but the work is just as demanding. We deal with a lot of local projects and the guys who work for us are mostly from around here. Our office is just a place to store the tools and do the payroll. Most of our time is spent out in the sun or the rain depending on the season. We build things that people actually use every day. It involves a lot of heavy machinery and noise. We aren't very formal about things. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in dust or talking to a truck driver. We just try to get the jobs done without too much fuss. It takes a lot of effort to coordinate all the different parts of a construction project. We have to keep track of the bricks, the sand, and the laborers. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the fly. That’s just how it goes in this industry. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just show up and do the work we’re paid for. It’s been a few years of this and we’ve learned which suppliers are reliable and which ones are just talk. We stay busy enough and try to keep the wheels turning.
