L & T Construction Pvt. Ltd.

L & T Construction Pvt. Ltd. is located right here in Lalpur Village, right near the Masjid in Ward No. 6. We've been here a while now. The office isn't much to look at, mostly just some desks and a lot of paper and dust from the road outside. Most days we are out on sites anyway. It gets pretty hot here in Matihani Tehsil during the afternoons, so we usually try to start the heavy work early before the sun really hits. Sometimes the trucks get stuck if it rains, which is a big mess for everyone. We just handle the local building stuff people need. My cousin helps with the books when he isn't busy with his own things. It's not fancy work. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and trying to get materials delivered on time, which is harder than it sounds. Sometimes the cement shows up late or the bricks aren't the right color, and we just have to deal with it and move on. We know the neighbors pretty well since we're right by the mosque. People stop by to ask about their own small projects or just to say hello and have a quick chat. Usually, we're just drinking tea and looking over some drawings. It’s been a busy year so far, but that's how it goes in construction. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. There’s always something breaking or needing a fix in the shop. It’s just how we live.
