Abc Bricks

Abc Bricks is located in Bajitpur, right along NH-31 in the Begusarai district. Being near the highway means we see a lot of traffic passing by, but most of our visitors are local people from the surrounding villages. The name might sound simple, but it’s just what we went with. We’ve been operating out of this spot for several seasons now. It’s a large open area where we do all the work. The sun can be really brutal out here in Begusarai, especially in the middle of the day. We usually take a break when it gets too hot and then get back to it in the late afternoon. I handle most of the customer stuff myself. I don't use a computer for the records; I still prefer my old notebook. It’s easier that way. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just make the bricks and wait for people to come buy them. Sometimes the deliveries take a while if the highway is clogged up, which happens more than you’d think. My clothes are always covered in red dust by the time I get home. It’s a gritty job, and it’s definitely not for everyone. But for us at Abc Bricks, it’s just what we do to get by. We’re glad to be a part of the community here in Bajitpur.
