Qalifa Buildcon Private Limited is located out on Beed Nagar Road in Patoda. We’re at L.S.No. 18 C. It’s a bit of a different pace out here compared to the big cities. The road is often busy with trucks and people traveling between towns, and we’re right there in the middle of it. Our office is a practical building where we keep all our construction records and equipment logs. It’s a lot of manual work and checking on site progress. We don’t have a lot of fancy office furniture; mostly just sturdy desks and chairs that can handle a bit of dirt from the field. Most of our day is spent talking to the guys on-site or making sure the materials are being delivered to the right spot along the road. It’s a small group of us running things, and we’ve lived in this area for a long time. We know the roads and the people around here. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work. The dust from the Beed Nagar Road is just a part of the day, and we usually have to wipe down the desks every morning before we start. It’s a quiet life in Patoda except for the sound of the traffic. We don't have a computer for everything; some things we still write down in big ledgers because it's just easier to track. We spend a lot of time outside, so the office is just a place to come back to.
