Nav Bharat English School

Nav Bharat English School is located out on the Pargaon Highway in Shirasmarg. It is part of the Gevrai Tahsil in Beed district. Being out by the highway means we get a lot of wind and a bit of dust from the passing trucks. The school is a single-story building that stands out against the surrounding fields. Most of our students come from the nearby villages and farms. Some walk a long way to get here, while others come by bus or bicycle. Because we are an English medium school in a rural area, there is a lot of focus on learning the language. The classrooms are basic, with simple desks and a few posters about grammar and science on the walls. We have a big open space around the school where the kids play during their free time. It can get very hot in the afternoons, so we are grateful for the fans we have in the rooms. The staff is small, and we all know each other's names. We spend our lunch breaks sitting together and talking about the crops or the local news. It is a quiet life out here, away from the big cities. We just try to provide a steady place for the local children to come and learn their lessons every day. It is a simple, hardworking environment. We don't have much, but we make the most of what is available to us.
