Bhagyashree Bricks

Out here near Vill. Namal Gaon, the trucks never really seem to stop on the Jalna Road. We set up Bhagyashree Bricks right along NH 211 because it made sense for getting things moved around Goshapuri and the surrounding areas. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of the earth we use and the wind coming off the open fields nearby. We’ve got a small crew of people from the village who have been with us since the very beginning. Every morning starts with checking the kilns and making sure the heat is just right for the batch. It’s hard work, especially when the summer heat hits this part of the country. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a small desk in a wooden shed where we keep the books and take orders from people passing by. Sometimes someone from the highway stops in just to ask for directions, and we end up talking for twenty minutes over a cup of water or tea. That’s just the way it is in Namal Gaon. We take pride in the stacks of bricks piling up in the yard. They aren't always perfectly uniform in color because of how the fire hits them, but they’re strong. We’ve watched the area change a bit over the years, with more traffic on the NH 211 mostly. But the routine at the yard stays pretty much the same day after day. We just keep stacking.
