Shekhawat Bricks

Shekhawat Bricks is located in Bijainagar Nagar, specifically on Balaji Road near the Krishi Mandi Chauraha. We are right by the petrol pump, which makes us very easy to find even if you aren't from around here. The area is always busy with farmers and tractors going to the mandi, so there is a lot of life around the yard. We have a big space where we keep the bricks in various stages of being finished. It’s a messy business, and our clothes are always stained with that red earth color. We don't have a lot of formal processes. We just check the kiln and make sure the workers have what they need to keep moving. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the people who stop by after getting fuel at the pump. It’s a good way to hear what’s happening in the town. The work is hard on the back and the hands, but we've been doing it a long time. We don't have any corporate slogans or big promises. We just show people what we have in the yard, and they can decide for themselves if it’s what they want for their building. The dust from the road and the mandi can get pretty thick, but we just keep working through it. It’s a noisy, busy corner of Bijainagar, and we are happy to be part of it.
