Devjimal Co is tucked away in the Beawar Pali Bazar. If you know that area, you know it’s one of the busiest spots you can find. There are people everywhere and the noise from the market never really stops. Our shop has been here for a long time, and honestly, it looks like it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are always too busy to get around to it. We handle a lot of different goods and trade. It’s the kind of business where you know everyone by their face because they’ve been coming in since they were kids. My father worked here before me, and he taught me how to handle the customers and the stock. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in through the front door from the bazar. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We open up early and close late, especially during the festival seasons when the whole Pali Bazar is lit up and crowded. It’s a hard way to make a living sometimes, but it’s what we know. We don't try to act like a big company. We are just a local shop doing business the old way without any fancy shortcuts.
