Shree Om Traders

Our place, Shree Om Traders, is situated in Guru Govind Singh Nagar, right on the Barnala Bye Pass. We are directly opposite the DAV School, so we see the kids coming and going every afternoon. Being on the bypass means we get a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles passing by, which keeps the area noisy and active. We deal with various trading goods, and the warehouse space is usually packed to the ceiling with boxes and crates. It can be a bit of a maze inside when a new shipment arrives. We don’t have a polished sales floor; it’s more of a practical loading and unloading zone. Most of our time is spent checking inventory or talking to drivers who are picking up or dropping off stuff. The dust from the road is something we just live with. We keep a small office area near the front where we handle the billing and phone calls. It’s a busy spot, and we don’t have much time for sitting around. Sometimes we have to move things around five times just to find one specific item at the back. It’s hard work, and the days can be long, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the bypass. We just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure the records stay mostly straight.
