Shiva Computers

Shiva Computers is right on Thanaroadbhikhi. It’s a small shop, and honestly, it’s always a bit of a mess because we are always fixing something. There are old monitors and keyboards scattered around the counters and wires hanging everywhere. The road outside is usually busy with people going toward the police station or the main market area. We have been in this spot for a good amount of time. People bring in their old laptops that won't start or towers that are making strange noises. We sit on small plastic stools and poke at the motherboards for hours. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights and glass cases. It’s just a regular shop with a lot of dust and the smell of hot solder. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside on the bench and wait for it to come back. The fans hum all day to keep the machines cool. We have a couple of guys who really know their way around a hard drive. We drink a lot of tea while we work to stay sharp. The shelves are full of old boxes and spare cables that we might need one day. Most people around Bhikhi know Thana Road, so they just drop their stuff off and come back later. We don’t do much advertising at all. People just show up when their tech breaks down. It’s a steady life for us here.
