Ramdas Marble

Ramdas Marble is located right on the G.T. Road in Bhcho Kalan. Being on such a famous and busy road means we see all sorts of people every day. Some are just driving by and see the stacks of stone out of the corner of their eye, and others come specifically looking for us because they heard from a neighbor that we have a decent stock. We keep a lot of marble and granite here in the yard. It is a very simple setup we have. We have a small area where we sit and a big open space for the stone slabs. The G.T. Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise and dust flying around, but that’s the trade-off for being so easy to find. We spend our mornings checking the stock and moving things around with the crane or by hand if they are smaller pieces. It is not an easy business to be in. The stone is cold in the winter months and stays very hot in the summer sun. We have been in Bhcho Kalan for quite a while now and most of the local contractors know to come here when they are starting a new house project. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just talk to people face to face when they arrive. If someone needs a certain type of marble, we show them what we have on the ground.
