R. K. Marbles

We have been here on Bathinda Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Jaitu. R. K. Marbles is just a local spot where we keep different types of stone and marble for floors. It gets dusty here sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but we try to keep things organized as best as we can. Usually, someone is always at the shop from early morning until late evening. We have some heavy slabs of marble sitting out front in the yard. People stop by when they are building a new house or maybe just fixing a small part of their kitchen or a bathroom. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop with a lot of heavy lifting involved. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice and wait for customers to come in and talk about their projects. We know most of the neighbors around here. Dealing with marble is hard work because everything is so heavy and you have to be very careful not to crack the edges during moving. We use a lot of water to clean the stone so people can see the real color and the patterns inside. If you are driving down towards Bathinda, you will see our sign eventually. We keep things simple here. No big office or anything, just the yard and the stone. We spend most of our day talking to contractors.
