Ramana Farms Private Limited

We've been working the land here in Village Jodhpur Romana for a while now. It's a quiet spot near Guru Sar and Sehnewala, tucked away from the main highway. Most days we're out in the fields or dealing with the equipment in the shed. It’s hard work, but that’s just how things go around here. People know us as Ramana Farms Private Limited. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just the farm and the sheds where we keep the tractors. The weather is what usually runs our schedule. If it rains, we do one thing, if it's dry, we do another. It's been this way for years. We grow what we can and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the tractors break down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing them instead of being in the dirt. It's not glamorous. The dust gets everywhere, even in your tea. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure the crops are doing alright. Neighbors stop by once in a while to chat about the prices or the rain. We aren't big on talk though. Most of our time is spent making sure the soil is okay and the water is running where it should. Being out in Sehnewala means we're a bit away from the main town, which suits us fine. There's always something that needs doing, whether it's mending a fence or checking on the seeds we planted last month. It's just a living.
