Mhr Happy Nursery School

Down in Ganesha Basti, you will find Mhr Happy Nursery School. It is a small place for the little ones who are just starting out. We spent a lot of time making sure the rooms aren't too scary for a three-year-old. There are drawings on the walls and plenty of toys scattered around the floor by the end of the day. It gets pretty noisy in here, which I guess is expected with nursery kids. We have a small staff who looks after them. Most of us have been working here in Bhatinda for a long time. The building is an older one, but it stays cool enough in the summer. Parents usually walk their kids over since many live right nearby in the Basti. We don't have any big buses or a huge parking lot. It’s just a neighborhood school. We teach them basic things like colors, songs, and how to share their toys without fighting too much. It isn't always easy, and some days are a bit chaotic when someone starts crying, but we manage. We don't have a glossy brochure or a marketing team. If you walk past, you’ll hear the kids singing or the teachers calling out names. That is just how our daily life looks here. We just try to keep the kids happy and safe until their parents come back at noon. It's a busy little spot but we like it that way. No big corporate rules, just local people teaching local kids.
