M K Engg Control Pvt Ltd is situated in Umbraj. That is in the Karad taluka, within the Satara district. It is a more rural setting compared to the big cities. Being in A/P Umbraj means we are right in the middle of things here. Our work is mostly engineering and control systems. The workshop is where we spend our hours. It has got that specific smell of grease and metal that you find in places like this. The Satara district has some nice views, but mostly we are just looking at machines. We have been here for a long time. People in Umbraj know the shop. It is not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It is more of a brick-and-mortar place with a lot of heavy tools. We deal with local needs and sometimes things from further away in Karad. The commute isn't bad because we live close by. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just part of life here. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us doing engineering work. The floors are concrete and usually have some oil stains. We try to keep things organized, but when you are busy, things get messy. It is just how a real workshop looks. We are part of the local community and we plan to stay that way for a good long time. There is always something that needs fixing or adjusting around here. It keeps us quite busy.
