Hotel Fortune Park Klassik

Hotel Fortune Park Klassik sits right at B-85 in the N.F.L. Colony area of Bathinda. It is a pretty straightforward place in Punjab where people come to stay when they have things to do in the city. The building is solid and has been here for a while. We have people coming in at all hours, sometimes looking very tired from long train rides or driving on the local roads. The staff here are mostly local folks who know the Bathinda area well. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and the kitchen has enough food for the morning rush. It isn't always perfect; sometimes a light bulb flickers or the lobby gets a bit loud when a big group arrives at once. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate talk thing. We just talk to guests like regular people and try to help them find their way around the N.F.L. Colony if they are lost. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice for the people staying here. We keep the doors open and the lights on, just doing the work that comes with running a hotel in this part of India. It’s a lot of laundry, a lot of checking people in, and a lot of making sure the tea is hot when someone asks for it. That is basically our whole day from start to finish.
