Different Convent School

Different Convent School is situated in Village Ghuda, which is on the Badal Road in the Bathinda district. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, so it’s quite peaceful around here. We have a fair amount of land and the school building sits in the middle of it. The kids come from Ghuda and some of the other nearby villages in Punjab. Most of them arrive by the school bus or their parents drop them on motorcycles. We have a simple routine that we follow every day. The classrooms are large enough for the students to sit comfortably. We teach them the standard subjects and try to make sure they understand what is in the books. Being in a village, we are surrounded by fields, which is a nice change from the city noise. The staff is local and they speak the same language as the parents, which makes communication easier. We don't have fancy laboratories or big sports complexes, just the essentials for a decent education. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get here, especially when it rains a lot, but we usually stay open. We are just a group of people running a school for the local community. It’s not a corporate operation, just a place where kids can grow up and learn their ABCs and math in a safe environment. It takes a lot of effort to keep things running smoothly.
