Dhillon Children Hospital

Dhillon Children Hospital is right on 100 Feet Road, near the Guru Nanak Dev Public School. Being so close to a school means we see a lot of kids, which makes sense for what we do. The Civil Station area is usually busy, so there’s always something going on outside. The hospital itself is set up to be okay for children, though we don't have all those fancy murals you see in big cities. It's just a clean, functional space with some toys scattered around the waiting area to keep the little ones busy. We deal with a lot of coughs, colds, and the usual things that happen when kids play together. The nurses are used to the noise and the crying, it doesn't bother us much anymore. We have a small team here. Most of the parents who bring their kids in went to that school next door themselves. It’s a tight community. We don't have a big administrative department, so if you call, you're usually talking to the same person who will check you in. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us and the families we see. Sometimes the wait is long on Monday mornings, but we try to get through the list as fast as we can. It’s just how it goes when you’re looking after the local children on 100 Feet Road.
