Bajaj Children Hospital

Bajaj Children Hospital is located right on Mall Road. Being on such a major road means there is always noise from cars and bikes honking outside. It is a busy place because there are always parents bringing their kids in for one thing or another. Mall Road is the heart of the area so we see a lot of activity every single hour. The hospital is mostly filled with the sound of children crying or playing in the corners. We try to keep things as calm as possible but that is hard with so many little ones around. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging up on the walls. We just have a lot of toys scattered about and some simple benches for the parents. The staff here has been around for a long time so we know how to handle a busy afternoon. Sometimes the lobby gets so full that people spill out onto the sidewalk. We just keep working through the list of names until everyone has been seen. It gets exhausting by the end of the shift but that is just part of the job on Mall Road. We don't try to look like those big corporate hospitals you see in the city. We are just a local place for local families. The floors get scuffed up from all the strollers and shoes but we just mop them up and keep going every day.
