Aggarwal Metal Industries

Aggarwal Metal Industries is tucked away on Jain Street, which is right in the Main Bazar area off Kotakapura Road. We are in the New Town section, not too far from the Civil Hospital. It is a very crowded part of town, especially during the day when the market is in full swing. Finding a place to park can be a nightmare, so most people just walk or use rickshaws. Our building is right there among all the other shops and traders. We deal with metals, so there is always some heavy lifting going on. The sounds of the bazar—people shouting, horns honking, and the general bustle—filter into our workspace all day long. It is a very lively place to be. We have been here on Jain Street for a long time. The office is small and usually filled with ledgers and samples. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that work overtime in the summer. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't put on any acts for customers. If we are busy, we say so. Being near the Civil Hospital means the area never really sleeps. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, in the heart of the New Town market. Sometimes we share a cup of tea with the neighbors when the lunch hour hits and the sun is high in the sky.
