If you find yourself on Railway Road, just look for the Punjab National Bank and we are right near there. Mahashakti Machinery Makers is our workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours. It is a bit of a noisy place, to be honest, because there is always some metal being cut or something being welded. The floor usually has a bit of oil on it and tools are scattered on the workbenches. We don’t have any fancy showrooms or people to greet you at the door. You usually just find one of us with a wrench in hand. Being on Railway Road means we get a lot of people just walking in to ask questions or get something fixed. We’ve been here for a long time and the building shows it, but the machines we make are solid. We don’t really do much advertising because most of our work comes from word of mouth around the local area. It’s a practical business. We deal with the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter without much complaint. Sometimes we get behind on our schedule when a machine breaks down, but we always manage to catch up eventually. It is just honest work with steel and iron. We don’t claim to be the most modern shop, but we know our way around the machinery and we keep the doors open for anyone who needs us.
