Nilachal Agro Producer Company Limited

We’ve been operating out of the House of Lalit Das for a while now. If you know the village of Aohata, you know it’s a small, tucked-away place in Baksa. Salbari is the nearest police station, which isn't too far if you're driving. Nilachal Agro Producer Company Limited is basically just a group of us from the village. We started this because we wanted to manage our own produce better instead of always relying on others. It’s not a fancy office at all. It’s literally a house. We sit on the porch often to discuss things over a cup of tea. The air is fresh out here, far from the city noise and smoke. Working in agriculture in Baksa means dealing with the seasons directly. We have some good years and some tough ones when the rain doesn't come. Everyone in the village knows Lalit, so it's a good central spot. We gather there to talk about the crops and what needs to be done next. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We don't have big machines or anything like that yet. It’s mostly just us using our hands and what we have available. Sometimes the roads to Aohata are a bit rough, especially during the monsoon season. But we manage to get by. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure our families and neighbors can get by. Most of us have been farming since we were kids. It’s what we know. We just decided to put a name to it.
