If you are looking for Deepak Marble, we are over on Handiya Road near the Kacheri area. Being near the Gurudwara makes it a pretty peaceful spot, even with all the traffic coming and going. We’ve been operating out of this location for a good bit of time now. It’s mostly just marble slabs and some stone pieces sitting around the yard for people to look at. We get a lot of people coming in after they visit the Gurudwara or when they are finishing up their work at the courts nearby. The stone business is mostly about having a lot of patience. You wait for the right piece to come in from the suppliers, and then you wait for someone who needs that exact size or color. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting pieces down for people who only need a little bit for a shelf or a small threshold. It is messy work, to be honest. There is always white dust on our clothes and on our shoes by the end of the day. We don't mind it though. It’s just part of the job we do. Our shop isn't some high-end showroom with lights. It is a practical place for people who want to see the stone in person before they buy it. We talk to a lot of local builders who stop by to see what we have in stock this week for their projects on Handiya Road.
