Ramdev Building Material

Ramdev Building Material is right on State Highway 28 in the Gudamalani District. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people every day. There are always big trucks rolling past, which makes the whole building shake a little bit sometimes. It’s a very busy spot to have a business. The Tehsil area around Gudamalani is where we spend our lives. Our shop is mostly about the materials we keep in the yard and the small office where we handle the money. It’s a hot and dusty place to work, especially when the wind kicks up off the road. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. Our days are long, starting before the sun is fully up and often ending after dark. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Everything we have is stacked up and ready for use. It’s a very practical way to live. We talk to the drivers, the local builders, and the people from the nearby farms. Everyone is usually in a hurry because of the highway, so we try to be quick with what we do. It’s a tough job sometimes, and our clothes are always a bit dirty by the end of the shift, but that’s just the nature of the building material business on a state highway. We just keep our heads down and work. There is always something to do here.
