I Am A Computer Operator On A Self Computer Center

I’ve been sitting in this spot at Ramdev Nagar for a while now. It’s a small shop on Juna Keradu Marg, Ward No 7. Mostly, I just handle whatever comes through the door. People bring me documents, photos to scan, or forms they need filled out online. It’s quiet sometimes, but Barmer has its busy days. I started this place because I know my way around a keyboard and screen. It’s just me here. I open up in the morning, dust off the monitor, and wait for the first customer. Some days it’s a student needing a printout, other times it’s someone older who isn't sure how to use a website. I don’t mind. I like the routine of it. The street outside can get a bit dusty with the Rajasthan wind, but inside, I just focus on the work. It’s not a big office or anything fancy. Just a desk, a couple of chairs, and the machine. I’ve learned a lot just by doing things myself over the years. If the internet is slow, we wait. If the printer jams, I fix it. That is how things go here in Barmer. It keeps me busy and helps the neighbors get their stuff done. Nothing more to it than that. I stay until the sun goes down and then head home. It’s a simple way to spend the day and it works for me.
